  1. Good stuff. Thanks for the broad look at these magnetic processes. Would be interesting to add some geochemistry followed by a discussion of pegmatites and their placement.

  2. Thanks! The graphics describing ring dykes, cone sheets, and model of diapirism help me visualize the subvolcanics of the surface expressions I have found using GoogleEarth imagery. Looking forward to the ground-truthing in a watershed also containing maar volcanos and a flow dome. The area has older lamproite craters and younger granodiorite intrusions. The presentation really helped some things finally gel for me.

  3. I think someone should visit Mead lake and Lindsey, Wisconsin because we have something dormant going on here ! Maybe uprising magma or fault line activity or hidden unknown fault line now forming activity! I think we are being hit by silent waves form California and Alaska earthquakes and it’s doing stuff here! maybe wakening on the Mid continental rift!?Batholith activity or a old ancient caldera diking activity!?Lets hope James bay, Canada a basalt over flow activity isn’t coming alive!
