Looking to the south along Sint Eustatius Island.  Older volcanics are in the foreground.  The Quill is on the southern end of the island.  Neighboring St Kitts and Mt Liamuiga is visible across the neighboring strait to the south.

Ongoing Effusive Eruption at La Soufriere, St Vincent

An effusive eruption began on La Soufriere volcano on St Vincent (St Vincent and the Grenadines) island in the eastern Caribbean Sea in Dec.  Note that this is currently an ongoing dome building eruption.
